Hand Towels

 The bag with United Supermarket written on the side of it was full of tons of hand towels. I debated on looking through it for four years. It has made a move with me each time I moved. My Nanny which most would call a grandma but there are many names for our grandparents. My Nanny saved many seasonal hand towels through the years. So, I ended up with twenty hand towels. I felt it was time to finally open up the bag and get them out as she passed away in 2018. I clearly still miss her, but I am doing better now mentally, and grief hits us out of the blue. I will post a photo of the Christmas hand towels later.

A Year

 It passes quickly.  We may not think it does at that moment.  Here it is a year later, and I have had survived what life has thrown at me. What you ask?  At first, I felt totally alone because I was used to seeing my kids every other week and now since I had moved to my hometown because of a "guy" and the way he treated me I moved home. I should have known better; being that have been divorced for four years prior to that. I thought I met someone great but then he showed me some gigantic red flags. So that is why I moved home. Thank goodness I didn't marry this guy. Anyways... I had to learn to love myself and live alone. It has been tough and tried me. My oldest son is off at college, and we talk every week. My youngest son we talk every day, and he is where he wants to be. We are happy now and life is as it should be.  I was deeded my grandma's house and I am enjoying the memories that are coming from this house.
